Detroit Laundry Service is one of a kind! Their wash and fold service with pick up and delivery is a lifesaver for busy families. They have an app, which is a one stop shop for booking, payment, updates, etc. The app is super intuitive and easy to use. Service can be booked in advance or the same morning for pickup. You can schedule pickups so they are reoccurring. Prices are very fair ($50 for the red bag)! Can't say enough good things about Detroit Laundry Service!

What size bag will I get?
You can put in the "notes" section what size bag you want. By default, we will match the bag size to the amount of laundry you give us.
How does it work?
Schedule a pickup online or by calling us at 313-375-5355. Throw your laundry in a trash bag, and put it outside during the pickup window. We will launder it according to your preferences and deliver it the next day.
How much does pickup and delivery cost?
$0. No delivery fees.
How will I be billed?
We ask for your credit card when you place your order. Your card won't be charged until your laundry is picked up and brought back to the laundromat.
What products do you use?
We use a non-scented enzyme detergent that cleans well and is easy on the skin. Then we use Bounce sheets in the dryer for their fresh scent. The result is laundry that smells fresh and clean, without being overly scented. We also have Tide, Gain, Downy, All Free and Clear, and All Free and Clear sheets. If you want something outside our standard wash, let us know in the notes section when you order. There is no extra charge.
Do I need to be home to use this service?
You do not need to be home. We just need access to where the laundry is.
Will you hang dry items?
Yes, at no extra cost. Let us know in the comments.
Can I set up reoccurring pickups?
Yes. When you sign up for recurring pickups, we will text you 24 hours before the pickup to confirm you want service that day.
What is the turnaround time?
We deliver the next-day. If you need it faster, we can do it same-day by request if you drop it off at 1561 E Lafayette St Detroit MI 48207 by noon. Our delivery service runs Monday through Friday, so Friday pickups are delivered Monday. The physical location is open 8 am - 10 pm every day. It will show up as Lafayette Laundromat on Google.
Will you text me when you are on the way?
Our system automatically texts you when we are on the way and when we pick it up. We will text you when we're on the way with your delivery and when it is delivered.
